The OLC feeds the hungry

The Offshore Longboard Club will be running a canned food drive to feed the hungry this holiday season. Please drop off any canned goods into one of the designated bins @ your local surf shop. We would like to thank everyone for their participation and from all of us to all of you Happy Hollowdays.

A few pics from the 56th St riders (AKA the Surf NINJAS!!!)

Kate McCarron Sent me a few pics of the Surf Ninjas/56th St Riders. These kids are great. They also won the youngest team (YOUT) award and a whole bunch of raffles. We hope to see you guys next year.

And the winner is.........

Thanks to everyone for showing up today and supporting the American Brain Tumor Assoc. The finals came down to 2 very good teams, The South Shall Rise Again vs The AC Surf Club. In the end it was super close but team Captain and Bing team rider Harry Gale edged out Tom Forkin's AC Surf Club for the win. Congrats to all the clubs and teams for their showings and thank all of you so much for making this such a great event, beach changes and all.

Contest Location Moved...

Because of "MEDICAL WASTE" washing up on Ocean City's South End beaches it looks like our contest permit has been moved to 7th St beach. They are telling me that the North End beaches will be the most likely to be open tomorrow. Please pass it on.

@ 8:00 we are still going to try to start the first heat.

The T-shirts

T-shirts will be available @ the beach for $20. There are a limited amount of extra shirts so get them early. If we run out of shirts we'll make a second batch.
