Soooooooo....

The Susan G. Koman foundation wants everybody to stop using their trademarked "For The Cure" slogan. The OLC's Surf For A Cure is mentioned by their lawyers as far as the media is claiming. Although I am yet to be contacted, I would like to inform the high powered lawyers for the SGKF and the American media of something...
SGKF's trademark is on the words "Susan G. Koman for THE cure" and the contest the OLC runs every year and will continue to run (which btw, all proceeds go to the American Brain Tumor Association) is called... "Surf For A Cure". There is NO A in THE!
Just thought I should clarify for the people that don't understand.

Here is Steven Colbert's take on it on the Colbert Report.

I was forwarded this from a friend...

I hope you don't mind my passing this on to you, but whenever I get the opportunity I do so, and some have appreciated it. As you know I've been doing a ton of research regarding all kinds of diseases. It started with my having Lyme and other spinoff illnesses, which, through a combination of standard medicine and natural medicine are just about gone. I have been researching at night for approx 3 hours per day and belong to related forums.

One thing I have come across is a website after I saw it presented on a link. This doctor has declared cancer a fungus and has cured people with tumors in days. Please don't dismiss this as nonsense. I've read many concurring pieces of information regarding cancer and absolute cures. Baking soda , believe it or not...is what he injects directly into the tumor. His website iswww.cancerisafungus.com Dr. Simoncini is an oncologist in Italy.

You can take or leave this information. I realize big pharma has put out scare tactics regarding natural cures because they would't make the trillions of dollars yearly if people could cure themselves that way.

I could tell you so much more related info, but I know many people turn a deaf ear. Unless they could read the actual credible and documented information, many scientists and doctors have risked, and sometimes lost their practices because of revealing, there is no way it would seem possible. So, you can pass this on or not. But at least I did.

I'll be buying tickets and hopefully be bringing friends as well.

Great Success...

The OLC's 8th annual X-mas party went down the other night and lots of fun was had by all. Congrats to Scott "Meatstick" Platt for winning the Surfer of the Year trophy. Other notable wins were Harry Gale's 2nd "Wizard of Schnoz" award, Richard "don't call me Dick" Tator's Performance of the Year, and Shane Mathews'  Rookie of the Year win.
Congrats to everyone, and thanks for bringing your canned good donations.

Super special thanks to Paul Aspenberg for working so hard on the new OLC movie. The first viewing was @ the X-mas party and it was awesome.
